Toni has been quilting since 1988, but has always had a needle in her hand. Before becoming a quilter she made clothing and enjoyed many other types of needle arts. She has taught quilting classes at many area shops and local guilds. Her quilts have been exhibited locally as well as AQS in Paducah, KY; IQA in Houston, TX; NY Quilter’s Consortium in Syracuse, NY; and The Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center in Auburn, NY. Her quilts have won awards in Houston, at Schweinfurth and the Quilter’s Consortium. She specializes in hand quilting and an easy method of trapunto to give additional texture to her quilts.
Toni has lived in Rochester since 2000 and enjoys the wonderful community of quilters in this area.
