Supplies Required for Course

Materials:

1 yard main outside fabric (for outside top, pocket, handles, ties, and inside pockets)
1 fat quarter (for contrasting bag bottom and outside pocket lining)
˝ yard lining fabric
1 yd fusible fleece (Pellon 987F is great)
11” (at least) matching or contrasting zipper, if you plan on using this closure option
Magnetic clasp, if you plan on using this closure option
Large button (can be used with all three closure options)
Thread to match or contrast (we will be quilting and topstitching)

Supplies:

Mini Bow Tucks pattern (by Quilts Illustrated, number ps026)
Sewing machine
Bobbins wound with thread for piecing and topstitching/quilting
Walking foot, if you have one
Zipper foot, if you’re using the zipper option
Rotary cutter, ruler, and mat
Chalk or washable marker
Scissors, straight pins
