I have been quilting for over 30 years and love to learn new techniques and play with mixing new and old methods. I love to challenge myself to relax, have fun and try something different with every project. I enjoy traditional and contemporary pieced and appliqué quilt-making, machine and hand embroidery, thread painting and embellishment, and painting and hand-dyeing fabrics for my quilts. I only wish there were more hours in day!
Recent acknowledgements of my work have fostered my desire to share my passion for fiber art with all who share an interest. Awards include: Viewer’s Choice at Patricia’s Spring 2009 Show and Honorable Mention at the Genesee Valley Quilt Festival in June 2009 for my “Cougar Adventures” quilt.
In my professional life, I am a corporate attorney and executive business management consultant, providing general legal counsel and strategic business coaching and training to help companies realize their development goals.
