INTRO TO HEIRLOOM SEWING

Have you been interested in learning about Heirloom Sewing, we have the class for you. With just a simple change of a needle, thread, different stitches, and attachments for your machine, and your own creativity, you produce an Heirloom Quilt or apply it to clothing, or home-dec. We will cover as many techniques as time permits. It is very important to spray the Batiste fabric at least two times before class.

Supplies Required for Course

3yds. Batiste (Imperial poly/cotton or all cotton.

3yds. Tear Easy stabilizer

. Thread: 2 spools of 60wt or 50wt cotton embroidery

Rayon or Polysheen embroidery

2.0 Twin needle

Size 11 Embroidery needle

Size 10 Universal needle

Pintuck foot

Satin Stitch foot(open toe will be very helpful)

Regular Sewing foot.

Ruffler(optional)

Best Press Spray Starch

Marking Tools

Basic sewing supplies (scissors, straight pins, etc).

Accessory box & Instruction manual for machine.

IMPORTANT Prep before class: Please spray starch the fabric at least two times.

(We will a half hour break for lunch.)
