BINDING REUNION

Is your quilt completed and ready for the binding? Whether you’re a previous classmate or just want to know how to bind and label, bring your quilt to show, share and FINISH. You’ll learn how to make and apply binding with an invisible join. We will also cover the importance of labels, various ways to make them, and how to apply them.

Supplies Required for Course

Binding the Quilt Top, Adding a Hanging Sleeve, and Making a Label

We will be using these supplies to finish our quilt:

• Sewing machine, supplies, etc.
• Binding fabric
• Rotary rulers and cutter
• Fabric and paper scissors
• Pins
• Removable marking instruments
• Freezer paper
• Scrap of tightly woven cotton for label
• Fabric markers or gel pens
• OPTIONAL fabric for hanging sleeve
