MODERN METHOD, QUICK TRICKS BEGINNER SAMPLER

The 20 blocks for this hands-on quilt class were chosen so a beginner can learn many different techniques. Sue will teach using all modern methods incorporating the rotary cutter and mat, templates only for odd shapes, and fusible appliqué. The cutting and explanation of how to sew the blocks will be done in class, with some time for sewing. There will also be homework. The finished blocks will be sashed and borders will be added. The last class date will be a “reunion” to show off the completed quilt tops with time to discuss adding the borders and doing a practice binding. (Note: the first class will be about quilting terms, 20color, cutting, and a correct ¼ in. seam. You can get your quilt fabric after this class if you choose to.)
